Enright Asphalt recently completed a multi-phase parking lot restoration project for San Marino Retirement Community in Westminster, CO. Unlike a typical office building, where work can often be completed over a weekend, this project required careful scheduling to keep parking areas and building access available for residents throughout the process.
About the Client
San Marino Retirement Community is a senior living community serving residents in Westminster, Colorado. Maintaining safe and accessible parking areas was a priority throughout the project, which required the work to be completed in multiple phases.
Work Completed
The project began with concrete repairs throughout the property. The team replaced damaged drain pans, ADA curb ramps, curbs and gutters, and repaired a concrete apron. Approximately 30 yards of concrete were installed over two days.
After the concrete work was completed, Enright Asphalt addressed deteriorated asphalt areas using infrared asphalt repair. A total of 36 infrared repairs were completed using 6 tons of asphalt. This portion of the project took one full day to complete.
Once the repairs were finished, the parking lot was prepared for sealcoating and striping. The property includes approximately 72,000 square feet of pavement, which was sealcoated and restriped in three separate phases. Each phase was carefully scheduled to maintain access for residents and visitors. After a section was sealcoated, the team returned the following day to complete the striping before moving on to the next phase.
