Enright Asphalt Sealcoating & Striping completed a multi-phase sealcoating and striping project for Qualcomm’s satellite office campus at 6180 Spine Rd, Boulder, CO 80301. The scope covered 171,000 square feet of parking areas across multiple buildings, with weekday operating hours that required careful planning to keep employee access open and safe.
About the client
Qualcomm is a global technology leader with multiple facilities in the region. This Boulder location serves as a satellite office with weekday traffic from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., making weekend scheduling the best approach to reduce disruption.
Project approach and work performed
We partnered with the management team to phase the lot into workable sections and stage crews to keep priority areas open. Because Fridays see lighter traffic, we scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
On the first weekend, incoming weather forced adjustments. We sealcoated several sections on Friday and Saturday, then striped those sections on Sunday so they were ready for Monday morning.
On the second weekend, weather cooperated. We completed sealcoating on Friday and Saturday and finalized all striping on Sunday. In total, we installed 4,500 gallons of sealer across 171,000 square feet and striped 500+ parking spaces, including ADA stalls and loading zones to meet site needs and ensure clear traffic flow.
