Commonly referred to as "R&R," this technique is used If the existing asphalt is completely destroyed or if there are sub base problems. We first saw cut around the damaged area, for straight edges. Then remove all damaged asphalt and haul it off site. Next we inspect the sub base, replace as needed and then re grade. Before the new asphalt is installed, tack oil is applied to the edges for proper adhesion. Finally the new hot mix is installed at current or specified depth. This repair will solve structural problems and drainage issues.
